Bilateral music is generally soft and relaxing music, which has the particularity of alternating sounds from one ear to the other. This stereophonic movement simultaneously activates one hemisphere of the brain then the other, which will allow synchronized activation of both sides of the brain.

This alternating stimulation of the two hemispheres can induce a state of deep relaxation and reduce stress levels.

It can also help balance the activity of the cerebral hemispheres, promoting better communication between them.

Bilateral auditory stimulation can also support creative processes.

Listening to headphones strongly recommended

To function optimally, it is recommended to listen to music bilaterally through headphones.

It is not necessary to turn on high volume for brain synchronization to work. For example, we can choose an extremely low sound level which allows us to listen to the conversations of those around us, while reaping the benefits of alternate activation.

The benefits of listening to bilateral music:

In therapy

Bilateral music helps stimulate both hemispheres of the brain in an alternating manner, facilitating the reprogramming of traumatic memories.

Relaxation and stress management

Reduced anxiety and improved sleep.

Concentration and meditation

Improves mental clarity in moments of study or concentration, and facilitates meditation.
